A total of 30 vacancies are available across various categories. The post is gazetted and falls under Pay Level 11 of the Pay Matrix with an initial basic pay of ₹67,700 plus applicable allowances. The selection will be done through a multi-stage process including shorthand test, written test, typing speed test, and interview.

Supreme Court SCI Court Master Recruitment 2025 Age Limit
The age limit for candidates is 30 to 45 years as on 01 July 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD/Ex-servicemen/dependents of Freedom Fighters as per Government of India norms. There is no upper age limit for departmental candidates of the Supreme Court of India.
Supreme Court SCI Court Master Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Shorthand (English) Test
- 120 w.p.m. for 7 minutes
- Transcription time: 45 minutes
- Max mistakes allowed: 5%
- Max marks: 100 (Qualifying: 50)
- Objective Type Written Test
- 100 Questions (25 English, 25 GK, 25 Constitution/Judiciary, 15 SCI Rules, 10 Computer)
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Max marks: 100
- Qualifying marks: 50 (Gen), 45 (Reserved)
- Typing Speed Test on Computer
- Minimum speed: 40 w.p.m.
- Mistakes allowed: 8 (Gen), 12 (Reserved)
- Duration: 10 minutes
- Max marks: 20 (Qualifying: 10 for Gen, 5 for Reserved)
- Interview
- Max marks: 30
- Qualifying marks: 15 (Gen), 13 (Reserved)
Note: 3 marks weightage will be given to candidates with a Law degree (BGL/LLB).
